Well, it definitely can look nice whether or not it is burning, but if you need your home warmed up this winter, you pretty much want a raging fire! Wood heaters help save you money if you can make them work, especially since you don’t have to use an expensive heating system to get your home toasty warm.

If you want a quality fire, however, you will need to add firewood to the mix, but you’ll want to add quality firewood. If you have a lot of acreage, it may be easy for you to go chop down a tree and use that.
